To assist the Architect in gathering clear design brief from the Client
Study the set of preliminary concept drawings and identify alternative structural solutions

Schematic Design Stage
To advise the Architect in preparing schematic design studies of the buildings leading to a recommended solution together with a general description of the Project
Design based report highlighting design approach and value added services

Design Development Stage (Tender Stage)
Prepare designs, calculations and drawings for the Works for submission and obtain approval from the Client and the Architect; and assist the Client in obtaining approval from the Relevant Authorities
Prepare cost estimates for the structural items of work.
Incorporate the final structural elements and requirements into the architectural drawings

Contract Documentation Stage
Prepare structural design based on final analysis of the entire building and site infrastructure.
Prepare a statement of quantities of structural items of work to be included in the tender documents and present costing. Costing with variation not exceeding ± 5% from the final awarded price
Prepare typical working drawings for all the important structural elements within the building and site infrastructure to enable the bidders to estimate their rates accurately.

Construction to Completion Stage
Carry out on-site inspection and approval of formwork and reinforcement placement initial / critical concrete pours for structural elements
Periodic supervision, for structural works to check adherence on the part of the contractors to detailed drawings and specifications.
Review and approve the shop drawings, product data, samples of materials as submitted, selected or substituted by the Contractor to ensure that such submission, selection and substitutions are made in accordance with the Contract
Co-ordinate with the Contractors to obtain marked up As-Built drawings.
